Lincoln Technology Solutions is recruiting for an experienced, high-performing Electrical Engineer with PCB design experience. The Senior Electrical Engineer will design, build and test next generation LCD backlights utilizing full array local dimming technology. This individual will also design hardware prototypes for display test boxes, AR/VR and IoT devices.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize analog and digital skill sets to realize designs in high and low tech builds
  • Design, build, verify and carry design through production using the Lincoln Technology Solutions New Product Introduction (NPI) process
  • Design hardware containing FPGAs, MCUs and high speed serial interfaces (DP and MIPI)
  • Coordinate design efforts locally and with colleagues in China
  • Support NPI activities
  • Mentor junior engineers
  • Define architecture for various projects
  • Ability to define project scope and timelines for bid formulation
  • Evaluate business cases when selecting BOM components
  • Select vendors for components
  • Hardware bring-up
  • FPGA programming
  • Work with multiple engineering disciplines (Hardware, Software, Mechanical)
  • Provide technical documentation to sales/marketing
  • International travel is a possibility

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)

or

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCpE)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience
  • Expert in utilizing Altium Designer to create schematics and layouts
  • Experience with high speed interfaces such as DisplayPort, MIPI and HDMI

Experience:

  • Electrical Engineering: 10 years (Required)

Lincoln Technology Solutions is recruiting for an Electronics Engineering Technician. The Electronics Engineering Technician will assist the engineering team with testing and troubleshooting. The activities will include reliability testing and documentation, product characterization measurements, failure analysis and PCB troubleshooting. The candidate will also need to perform customer sample testing and generate reports on the performance of samples. This is a hands-on role and, in addition to experience with electronics, a strong mechanical aptitude is valuable.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to use common electronics engineering lab equipment such as DMM, power supply, temperature chamber, etc.
  • Read wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, mechanical drawings and engineering work instructions
  • Assemble, test and troubleshoot circuitry or electronic components
  • Ability to solder
  • Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers or field representatives as necessary to procure replacement parts
  • Requires proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of LCDs and/or LEDs is desired but not a requirement.
  • Support New Product Introduction activities
  • Work with multiple engineering disciplines (Hardware, Software, Mechanical)
  • Provide technical documentation

Education Requirements:

AA, AS degree in Electronics Engineering, technical school, or equivalent education/work/military experience

Qualifications:
