FAE
Field Applications Engineer

Job Description:
The FAE need to have a broad understanding of display technology (LCD, OLED, etc.) and serve as technical point of contact for customers. This role will report to VP of Sales.
Responsibilities:
· Help identify appropriate LTS solution by understanding customer’s display solution desired, including but not limited to electrical, mechanical, optical, environmental, firmware, etc.
· Coordinate internal efforts to develop drawings, specifications, bills of material, build plans, etc.
· Provide sales thorough product proposal and cost estimates
· Negotiate technical specs/drawings with customer
· Assist customer in testing & evaluation of product.
· Track and report as directed key programs’ progress, including resources required.
· Manage and attend trade shows including design of booth demos.
· Manage LTS RMA process.
Requirements:
· Degree or Certificate in technical field
· 3 years of experience, including “hands on” testing and troubleshooting or hardware design
· Experience or detailed knowledge of: hardware system design, PCB layout and debug, Quality standards and documentation requirements
· Up to 25% travel required & Driver’s license
· International and domestic travel required occasionally.
· Position is based in Cary, NC and this is an in the office work environment.
· Occasionally work with our factory in Shenzhen, China which could include occasional after-hours communication.

· Technical acumen: ability to communicate with engineering community
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Ability to manage and/or coordinate complex projects
· Creative and “on the spot” problem-solving
· Ability to handle high stress and fast paced business environment
