High-Performance Displays

Broadcast & Production

Broadcast visual equipment facilitates a slice of human connection through creativity. It requires speed that can keep up with capturing the moment, performing seamlessly in challenging environments, outshining the sun on bright days, knowing when the details of a shot have been captured, and matching the true color. A high quality display is the medium for the experience.

Our display panels support demanding production environments where color accuracy, image fidelity, and long-term reliability are critical. We partner with broadcast OEMs and camera manufacturers to deliver OLED, Mini-LED (FALD), and advanced LCD display technoilogies for live production and post.

Designed for Broadcast Environments

Broadcast Environments Demand Visual Confidence

  • In-Camera
  • On-Camera Display
  • Multiview
  • Post-Production
  • Viewfinder

Your Challenge Our Solution
Poor low-light visibility compromises framing and exposure Enhanced low-light contrast. Better visibility in dark shooting conditions without over-brightening the overall panel display
Backlight bleed obscures shadow detail in bright display modes Reduced backlight glow. FALD zone control preserves shadow detail for improved, frame-accurate exposure decisions.
In-camera display drains battery on long shooting days Power-efficient design. Up to 85% power savings with Mini-LED CSP–extend your shoot without sacrificing display quality

External display for camera

Your Challenge Our Solution
Monitor unreadable outdoors under direct sunlight Daylight-proof brightness. Up to 5,300 nits with anti-reflective coating–full visibility in any shooting condition, no exceptions.
Contrast loss makes exposure and focus difficult to judge True blacks and high contrast. FALD zone control delivers deep dynamic range so you see shadows clearly and nail exposure in-field.
Heavy monitors cause fatigue and limit rig configurations Rugged lightweight design. High-performance display engineering in a compact, field-ready form factor.

Your Challenge Our Solution
Detail loss in multiview grids–small sources lose clarity Per-zone HDR brightness control. Mini-LED FALD maintains image quality across every tile–no source gets lost in the grid.
Cluttered screen visibility makes fast monitoring difficult Ultra-high brightness and true blacks. Hight contrast ratio makes every source instantly readable even in congested multi-source views.
Display washes out under bright studio or control room lighting High ambient-light performance. Up to 5,300 nits sustained brightness with anti-reflective treatment maintains visibility under studio conditions.

Your Challenge Our Solution
Inconsistent color decisions across different display systems 99% + DCI-P3 Rec.2020 support. Wide Color Gamut panels ensure consistent, accurate color decisions from the suite to final deliverable.
Display lacks true black depth for HDR grade evaluation True black depth. OLED and Mini-LED FALD deliver pixel-accurate HDR evaluation–see the full dynamic range of every grade.
HDR10/Dolby Vision monitoring requires a specialized display HDR10 & Dolby Vision capable. Full HDR pipeline support from ingest to final QC–in the same panel.

External display for camera or viewfinder

Your Challenge Our Solution
Difficult to achieve accurate focus in compact viewfinder format High-resolution, compact display. Supports precision viewing with sharp detail in a small form factor optimized for camera integration.
Gray blacks reduce shadow detail judgement during aquisition True black depth. See genuine shadow detail–not black glow–for accurate exposure and focus confidence on every shot.
Inconsistent brightness. creates uneven viewing experience Uniform luminance. Mini-LED zone control delivers consistent brightness edge-to-edge without hotspots or falloff.

About Broadcast Display Technology

What is the difference between a broadcast display panel and a broadcast monitor?

A broadcast display panel is the internal display component, while a broadcast monitor is a finished product that includes housing, electronics, and certification. LTS supplies display panels for integration into broadcast equipment, working with OEMs and camera manufacturers.

What is a flip display camera monitor?

A flip display camera monitor is a small, articulating display mounted to a camera body that lets operators view the frame from multiple angles. LTS supplies display panels for on-camera and flip display camera monitor applications in a range of sizes and brightness levels.

Why is brightness important for broadcast camera displays?

Outdoor and field production requires monitors that stay readable in-direct sunlight. LTS Mini-LED panels reach up to 5,300 nits peak brightness–ensuring full visibility in any shooting condition.

What advantages does OLED offer for post-production monitoring?

OLED panels deliver infinite contrast, true blacks, fast response times, wide color gamut, and thin/lightweight construction–making the well-suited for color grading reference monitoring and any application where details and color accuracy are critical.

How does display resolution affect broadcast camera monitors?

Higher-resolution panels allow camera operators to evaluate focus, grain, and image quality more accurately during production. Our OLED and Mini-LED panels support improved detail visibility for professional broadcast applications.

How do Mini-LED (FALD) panels benefit broadcast applications?

Mini-LED Full Array Local Dimming uses thousands of small LEDs in independent dimming zones, delivering true blacks,  high peak brightness, minimal halo, and up to 85% power savings–ideal for on-camera monitors, viewfinders, and multiview applications.

Is OLED burn-in a concern for broadcast monitors?

In dynamic broadcast workflows where content changes regularly, OLED is well-suited for camera monitors. Our built-in de-burn-in algorithms and RGBB subpixel structures extend panel lifetime. For static-overlay-heavy applications, Mini-LED FALD eliminates burn-in risk.

What broadcast applications are best suited for Mini-LED vs OLED?

Mini-LED FALD excels in outdoor/field on-camera monitors, viewfinders, multiview walls–any applications requiring sustained high brightness. OLED excels in post-production reference monitoring and color grading where contrast and color accuracy are the primary priority.

Can LTS support custom broadcast display integrations?

Yes. We work with broadcast OEMs and system manufacturers to support custom display panel selection, integration, testing, and development for on-camera monitors, viewfinders, production control surfaces, and multiview systems.

Does LTS produce finished broadcast monitors?

No. We provide display panels and full integration engineering support. Final product assembly, certification, and distribution are handled by the broadcast equipment manufacturer or system integrator as part of their finished product.
