16 July 2026 – Cary, North Carolina — Lincoln Technology Solutions, a custom display solutions provider, announced the expansion of its rugged display portfolio with a new 7″ ultra high-bright rugged LCD display, designed for demanding environments where standard commercial displays may not be enough.
Built for outdoor, industrial, vehicle-mounted, and field-use applications, the new 7″ rugged display combines compact size with high reliability performance. It is engineered to support applications exposed to vibration, shock, temperature swings, humidity, static discharge, and physical impact.

The new 7″ rugged LCD display expands LTS’s rugged display lineup beyond larger form factors, giving OEMs and system designers more flexibility for applications where space is limited but performance requirements remain high.

The 7″ rugged LCD display is designed and tested for demanding conditions, including:
- Wide operating temperature: -30°C to +85°C
- Thermal shock tested: -40°C to +90°C, 500 cycles
- High humidity tested: 60°C / 90% RH, 500 hours
- Structural vibration tested: 5G peak acceleration across 3 axes
- Impact resistance: IK07 rating
- Mechanical shock tested: 80G, 7ms, 30 total pulses
- ESD protection: ±8kV air discharge / ±6kV contact discharge
